The sharing of plant medicine is an integral part of my work.  I offer various teaching opportunities available through structured apprenticeships, mentorships, private lessons, and public teaching opportunities. Herbal Remedies for Longevity and Healthy Aging

Many cultures worldwide utilize tonic herbs to promote longevity. Our body’s ability to defend itself from countless diseases can be a key to enjoying a long life. This class will cover many of these herbal traditions and explore the use of herbal tonics to strengthen immunity, endurance, and longevity. In this class, we will learn about individual herbs and explore age-old formulas. A demonstration will be incorporated into the class. Students will receive recipes for easy-to-make herbal remedies.

Student Learning Outcomes –

1. Increase understanding of how tonic herbs are used historically.

2. Develop skills in learning how and when to utilize herbs

3. Develop awareness of resources available for further information and study.

Cold and Flu Season Through a Traditional Chinese Medicine Lens

In this class, you will learn the Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment protocol for addressing colds and flu. Then learn about Chinese, Western, and Central Oregon herbs to support immunity, fever, coughs, congestion, fatigue, and recovery.
